New release of MILAS in Dynamics 365 for Operations
Microsoft recently released version 10.0.9 (PU33) of Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations. The launch of this new version also effects MILAS, Adifo’s ERP add-on.
MILAS is an industry specific extension that streamlines the complete organizational workflow of the nutritional supply chain. MILAS handles the most complex business processes of feed, food, commodity trade, pet food, aquafeed and agricultural chemicals businesses. MILAS® complies with the release process of Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations, where multiple continuous updates are delivered each year (up to 10 per year). With each Microsoft release, Adifo delivers a compatible MILAS® release. Each MILAS® release will contain:
- Compatibility with the related Finance and Operations version
- Bugfixes for errors encountered in all projects
- Functional MILAS® optimizations
- New MILAS® functionalities (based on requests from projects or internal roadmaps)
These MILAS® releases will focus on small and continuous updates, with each update adding value without the risk of running into any update conflicts. The latest MILAS release is called: R102.0.
With this release, Adifo introduced numerous new features, all aimed at enriching the existing functionality. A few of the highlights of this latest release are:
- An optimized “operation pricing” module: With the new release you can calculate operational costs based also on ingredient consumptions
- Fine tuning the existing MILAS feature to correct packing slip quantities, speeding up the distribution process
- Additional possibilities to manage the process from newly imported BESTMIX® recipes to approved sales prices. By using this new feature, you can value your new bill of materials against active or pending prices.
- Stock rent calculation was enriched with new possibility to group the different stock rent amounts, upon charging your partner
These were just a few improvements included in this new release.
