VIV Europe 2010 took place at its original destination, the Utrecht Jaarbeurs. The international feed-to-meat industry was to meet and be inspired by the most recent innovations.

At the start of 2010, Adifo has closely re-examined its positioning in the market and has set itself the following mission: Adding value to nutrition industries.

The VIV-exhibition offered the ideal opportunity for Adifo to launch its new corporate image, its new logo and its new booth

Suddenly, things were not looking good. Whilst preparations for the trade show were in full swing and the prognosis was looking very promising as pre-registration visitor numbers were at record level, the Eyjafjallajokull volcano in Iceland was sending dark clouds over Europe. Visitors and exhibitors – especially those from Asia, the Middle East and Russia, but also visitors and exhibitors from as close as the UK and Ireland stranded halfway across Europe or were not able to fly at all. The estimated attendance figure dropped considerably.

In spite of this awkward situation, Adifo can look back on a successful exhibition. The contacts made were less in quantity but all the better in quality. In times of crisis, companies are looking for added value in their sector and specialised software is clearly highly appreciated.
